My friend wanted to turn his 15g tank into an all cichlid tank like mine so he offered me $20 for my 2 firmouth cichlids and my 1 electric yellow cichlid and I said yes. I then went to the fish store and bought these two awesome guys. They're both about 2" long and I know they're ganna out grow the 10g but I have plenty of tanks for them.

The pet store owner told me since the green terrors fins were a little chewed up from what he was in the tank with he would sell me it for $5:grinno:
Also can anyone identify the other cichlid in the tank I cant remember.

Appears to be a texas cichlid, looks cyano.

thanks

thank you, hes starting to get agressive towards the texas and I'm wondering if its just cuz he got moved to a new tank or if hes ganna stay like this, I heard green terrors are agressive but i didnt think he would be mean to a fish a little bigger then him.

its most likely because they are in new tank and need to figure out hierarchy of the tank, GTs usually aren't that aggressive (your "tex" looks cyano but could also be lfs hybrid as well) but both carpintis and cyano are more aggressive IME than GTs so i think time will tell with that one

alright thank you

After researching it I believe the fish that was unknown to me was a Texas/Jaguar Hybrid

its def not hybrid with jag, when i said hybrid i meant either a mix between the different carptinte variants or mixed with cyano x carpintis or could even be pure cyano, def one of those choices though

well if you type in texas jaguar hybrid on google images a similar fish will show in the first 12 pictures. actually now that I look at it, it has stripes and mine doesnt and the fins are black now I see what you mean
