yeah well cyanos and carpinte will get stripes as well depending on mood/status in the tank but its only in the back half of their body and see how in this pic it has stripes going into spots along middle of the body, cyano/carp will only have straight stripe and not spot like that but yeah i can see where you could have thought thats what it was those are actually some sweet looking hybrids

Yeah, a 15 gallon tank isn't going to work for two fire mouths and another cichlid.

And yes, Texas cichlids are usually a little more aggressive than GTs.

New question but similar, I just moved the GT and Texas to the 29g ank and they started nipping each others fins all over again, are they trying to establish a new hierarchy again in the tank? because it seemed like the GT was the boss of the 10g
