Just got myself a canoe today and took it down to a river with some friends around 9:30 or 10 and ran into about 50 gators. I think there was a nest that recently hatched because they were all tiny. I caught two of them and removed a leech that was attached to one of their tongues (that was tricky) and got eaten alive by mosquitoes. it was worth it though. Pics to come soon.

as a side note all gators were released and we were with a permitted individual. no laws were broken.
