Cool! I bet that would be a lot of fun to do. Sometimes when I'm kayaking I can sneak up on turtle either floating in the water or sunning themselves. I would take a camera with me but with my luck it would get wet and ruined.

i catch all kinds of stuff kayaking. almost all of my turtles are wild caught lol.

it wasnt nearly as god as it was last night, I saw quite a few gators still but the babies that were hanging around last night were all gone. I saw about 10 between 2 and 6 feet. I got the canoe real close to a 6 footer and she went under and swam underneath us causing us to almost tip (that was scary). I got close to some of the 2 footers and tried to get them but they seem to be wiser than the yearlings and new when to duck out.

All in all uneventful, a few bats, a few gators but mostly just mosquitoes....
