We've mostly finished Emma's Axolotl tank. Still have the pothos rack to build. They havent put on much length but they have put on girth. They get an earth worm a day each and every week we dump about a dozen ghost shrimp in there that they hunt thru the course of the week. Until the ghosties get snapped up they do a great job of cleaning.

Haven't had much luck getting them on pellets. They will eat Repashy insectivore tho.

It’s good to see they’re thriving as far as I can tell, also the decorations are nice. Simple and nice.

Not many plants grow in a cold, dim tank. The marimos are thriving tho. We wanted more color but were worried about how soft their skin is on poky plastic decor. Trying to keep space for them to grow in comfort.

I have to ask (because I'm a loser) has she named them yet? Kids always come up with the best (or sometimes worst) names for things. :D

Glitter pants?....

Are you that concerned to get them on pellets? Years ago when I had axolotls I only fed them worms and they grew huge and some even bred. I used to put an old hessian sack in a cool shaded place in the garden and hose it down once in a while and there was always heaps of worms under it for convenient catching.
Love this set up too, your daughters done a good job.
