Axolotl food

I have 2 axolotls, can I feed them shrimp instead of worms because I have a hard time finding worms as my parents don't let me dig in the yard and worms at my LFS are overpriced. Also, do you think that Repashy morning wood would be beneficial to them?

sorry is it okay, sell me one of your axolotls?
 
How about buying some at Walmart? They aren’t that much. I feed leftover worms from fishing to my koi and as a treat for my gts.
I don’t know much about Axolotls. I’ve only recently started reading up on them. Foods I’ve seen fed are frozen blood worms, black worms, red wigglers, and pellets. I’d think pellets would be beneficial to get them on just for easy feeding when you can’t feed live.

Yeah this is pretty old, I found a bait shop that sells 24 trout worms for $5 so I go to them for food, I do feed them a few Hikari Sinking Carnivore Pellets a day too, with some guppies and ghost shrimp as a treat once a month or so. As for the axolotls, what state are you in? Axolotls are illegal in some states.
