hi mfk members,i went to our lfs & came across this fella there,have done some research,but would like to hear second hand from members here of your experience with this Amphibian!!Im always looking for exotic pets thing that people dont see or never seened,so i think this would be a jaw opener to my collection of pets...

Axolotl's are aquatic and eat mostly bloodworms though they can also eat pellets. As far as unique goes they arent that rare. If you want an all aquatic amphibian then i would go with the greater siren (lesser siren if you cant get that big of a cage). The only difference between sirens and axolotl are that sirens dont have back feet and grow to be like 4ft. They are very beautiful creatures and require the same care as the Axolotls. Look them up and see if you like them.
 
Bloodworms worm ok on younger axies but sub adults and adults need a bit more in their diet. Earth worms work great as do salmon pellets.

make sure to keep them cool. Under 70 is best.
