azul help!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
LOL yes, that is what I meant and it's a good thing that the....poop,is not white or light in color.

Guys !!! the other azul has also become very lethargic and pale so i moved him to the smaller tank, i do not know what is cause of this when they were brought they were fed market prawns that is the last thing my azuls ate so far. Iam not sure whether its a problem with the tank or shrimp.
the tank is almost 2 years old, it houses 3 loaches which seem fine but they were not given shrimps.
AS you guys can see the tank is crystal clear, unfortunately we do not have these test kits in srilanka.

What is the tank temp at?
Are there airstones in the tank?
How often do you do water changes?
Did the shrimp smell funny?

Temp should be 86-87
HIghly oxyginated with airstones
SHould do wc's 2x a week of 25-50%(increase as they eat more and get bigger)
Shrimp should be fresh frozen/raw and thawed each day for feeding.

i have one airstone along with a canister filter and a hang on filter, i do 2 water changes per week 25% each time, temp is 85. do you think somethings wrong with the water, one of my yoyo loaches died today as well. both the pbass are eating well and active now but a 10 gallon for (2) 5 inch pbass is way too small.

Leave the bass in the tank they are in. Do another water change. think maybe 30-40%.

Try the bloodworm/pellet method as far as feeding.

i just changed 25 % of the water today
