Azul/Kelberi Tocantins

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I would say its a Bahia. All the rt that have been posted did not have the anal fin spangling until much larger

Crazt my last RT pic posted is of my smallest kelberi just about 5 inches and he's had the spangling on the tail from about 4.5. That one looks to be about that size too. I wouldnt be surprised if that one too is of the same batch that a lot of us have gotten our hands on.

Okay. Here are some more pictures of my second batch of Kelberi that I'm talking about. They are in my outdoor tank. It is so hard to avoid reflection from the glass when taking pictures. Please let me know whether they can be Tocantins or Bahia or something else. They are 5" - 7" in size.

Those look more like nice Bahias to me. Maybe Crazt was right about the earlier pic. Hard to tell by that pic at that angle.

It's been about 4 months now that I've had my azuls and kelberis. My biggest kelberi is close to 7 inches, and the azuls are about that too. I'm down to 3 kelberi and 2 azuls, I've sold off about 30 bass, including my Orinos, farmies, monos, and Bahias. It was a great learning experience as well as a lot of fun. Here's some new pics of what I've decided to stick with. uploadfromtaptalk1404290687414.jpguploadfromtaptalk1404290711744.jpguploadfromtaptalk1404290734737.jpguploadfromtaptalk1404290751460.jpg

Beautiful stock!

I plan on stocking my new tank with kelberi and azul

Thanks blacksnow! I like the look of this kelberi as it has the same basic body shape as most kelberi. I like the shorter stockier bodies they have. These Azuls have a nice coloration to them too.
