Thanks for the info. I'll probably keep my Cichla down to 3-5.

No offense, but I've kept fish for 35 years and bred at least 50 different types of cichlids. It's not like I'm some noob about keeping fish. I'm intelligent enough to ask questions before keeping new fish. Why would I keep another Cichla when the ones that I like are azuls?

lets hope so. cause all i know is 4-5dead azuls are not a good sight.

Good luck. Hopefully you won't have a feeding problem. Or maybe you can train the cichla to eat from one side of the tank and the rays the other. That's a pretty big tank you might be able to pull that off.

Which is exactly why I'm asking. Neither is mutilated arowanas and rays from aggressive Cichla. I think they'll be fine though since they all will be started young together.

no offence but if you never had any cichla in your life and you went staight to azul then its i dont know how to walk so ill fly a plane.

I don't see how that's an issue. Care for cichla is the same. Assuming to can bite the bullet and pay the price tag, you'll be okay.
