azul???

some do...not all...from what ive heard, it depends on which river origin it came from...like the same cichla from one part of water tributaries have say mono's with light yellow body color and some from other different waters may have the bright yellowish gold color tone on them but well for this specimen lets just wait for someone with a more knowledge than us to approach this

Definitely not an azul..

A lot of occel and monos have been known to grow bluish tints on their fins!

Don't forget Orino's. They also get a bluish hue..

I just don't know how you could possibly get azul from this..:confused:
 
lol did i ever say Azul in any of my comments...? (-__-) you guys should read my comments more thoroughly before you say something...and i know mono's and occels and orinos and azuls and many other cichlas gets bluish tints on them...
 
looks like an ocellaris... check out the dorsal fin and the round tail..
