Azuls and Silver Arowanas?

I have my 15 silver arowanas growing out for my 3600 gallon tank and have planned to have motoros on the bottom with them.

Anyone keeping azuls with silver arowanas?

If so, any aggression problems?

no just make sure arows are bigger then azul but notto be to eat azuls

My arowanas are 5-7" now. I probably have a few more inches before I can't introduce juvenile cichla with them right?

I have the same size aro with 3.5"-4" cichla

6" azul - 8" arow imo....arow needs to be 2" bigger or the azul will/try to eat them, but 2" on the arow is not enough for them to try and seat the bass

So as long as they are too big to fit in each other's mouths it's all good LOL

I'm not very familiar with Pbass, but with cichlids the recommend is have the arowana be 2x the length of the cichlid and don't mix them until the aros are about 10". The same recommendation may work with Pbass also.

I'd think a 10" arowana could get really close to eating a 5" pbass and probably choke attempting it. *Inside joke - poke B*

Hi,the best solution is putting fishes of the same size in the same tank,with one rule to follow,the more aggressive fishes should be a bit smaller when housed with more peaceful species.
