Azuls and Silver Arowanas?

I agree. My main concern was the capacious mouths of both species as to not have them eating each other and any aggression the pbass might exhibit specifically toward the upper level swimming arowanas.

Hi,the best solution is putting fishes of the same size in the same tank,with one rule to follow,the more aggressive fishes should be a bit smaller when housed with more peaceful species.

So what length silver aro is equal to what length P bass? Are you saying a 5" silver is equal in size to a 5" bass?

I think it has more to do with the height or depth from top to bottom of the fish- so the arowana might be 6" long and 3/4"-1" tall and the bass might be the same 6" but be 2" tall and be all over the aros

I'd think a 10" arowana could get really close to eating a 5" pbass and probably choke attempting it. *Inside joke - poke B*

he's right. i had my 12+" leichardi with 4" pbass without issues, then my 2fter silvers with a 7" pbass without issues at all. silvers usually wont each fish much bigger than 3-5 inches almost ever, its highly doubtful

Most likely, but whenever they are too large for the arowana's mouth you're surely good to go.
