Stopped by my LFS and they had some Azuls in. I was wondering how many I can put in a 300, 6x3x2?

I would think 3-5 would be ok, I prefer 8ft length or longer minimum 3 ft wide tanks but I think they would do just fine in there and if you do get some always do odd numbered groups

I would get just one, grow him big, then maybe add more as you upgrade

Why odd numbers?

Bass seem to do better in odd numbers, spreads aggression out. If you do get some azuls I would add dithers also.
