What are they eating?

They are eating mostly live. I do feed exclusively live bearers and cichlids, no gold fish or rosies. They BOTH have eaten chopped smelt and even live BWs but I am trying to powerfeed to grow them out as fast as possible so I usually keep feeders in the tank.

Haha no. Apparently trying to scrub 60+ years of rust off a rifle with the harshest chemicals known to man not only will piss off your wife when you do it on her dining room table but also can some how get into your fish tank and kill your fish!
