HAHA i read some thread on a forum i cant remember and a guy said he caught one when he was a kid and ate it and it tasted like oily newspaper

Most of the people I know also say they don't taste good, I've never eaten one so I don't know. Not much of a fish eater.

Or they were too scared to eat these ugly panfish because they often carried tapeworms and other parasites. Ive eaten them and they tastes same flavor as crappie and sunfish.

Sorry, i went to the key before i read the whole thread, which is MY lesson wanted to learn here, If the key is Correct and i know how to use it, I feel ive learned a valuable lesson, And dont feel the need to type a bunch, about what each individual feature led me to that conclusion. Anyone that uses that key can read them there. When it comes to a fish thats not in the key, I suppose i wil be Scr#$ed, Or just have to wait for Sandtigers next lesson. I think every Centrarchid is in that key so as long as I stick with sunfishes you're safe.
