i saw dirty jobs and thier was a zoo, iwht gators(they were bigger) with alligator snappers. the smallest gator(also had a nile in there) was aroun 4 to 5 feet. so it can be done

only with larger specimen in a larger enclosure. I miss read what the OP said though and thought that he was putting the gator and the turtle in the 60 gal which is much small.... there would inevitably be missing toes/tail if that were the case.

Oh that "zoo", well sir that zoo´s pond was a disaster waiting to happen, it was HORRIBLY overcrowded, the smaller ali snappers were thin as hell (wonder why they were not getting enough food?), the water quality was as bad as it gets and they even kept a poor slider amoung thouse huge predators NO ROLE MODEL. Back to MFK I think that particular combo may be possible in a huge enclosure, but nothing smaller then a big pond.

Back to your case, if you cant aford 300 dollars how do you espect to pay for your gatór´s future home wich will put you of way more then that, and this not counting electric and water bills?

Exactly. Even feeding it moderately on fish and other meat that guy is gonna cost$$$$$$$$$!! What about the liability if it got out, God forbid, and ate some neighbors pet...or worse. Humans are so arrogant. We CANNOT keep every animal! If I get a big enough hole dug in my back yard, could I keep an Orca?
