Exactly. Even feeding it moderately on fish and other meat that guy is gonna cost$$$$$$$$$!! What about the liability if it got out, God forbid, and ate some neighbors pet...or worse. Humans are so arrogant. We CANNOT keep every animal! If I get a big enough hole dug in my back yard, could I keep an Orca?
PREDATORY ANIMALS THAT CAN SWIM, RUN, AND CLIMB FASTER THAN ME AND CAN EAT ME AND MY KIDS, DESERVE TO BE LEFT WHERE THEY WERE BORN!!!!:irked:

plz shut ur face. their are plenty of us that would, could and can care for an apex predetor such as a gator, caiman or croc. just because u cant care for such an animal properly doesnt mean some of us cant.

Humans are so arrogant? sounds to me like ur just an arrogant a**. U cant care for an animal so there for no man can, right? is that ur line of thinking? that is what it appears to be.

So plz, dont come spewing ur crap just because u dont agree with some of us. Go hang with PETA:screwy:

Gator are not dangerous, unless its breeding season and there are multiple gators of different sexes.

Now crocodiles on the other hand are very unpredictable and frigging crazy. they will chase yo butt down!

Be safe and think this through man. They're not very fun to watch, but they sure do taste good. Just kidding, sorta :D

i agree i dont think there all that dangerous you hear about crocs in australia attacks then you do about people in the USE and i totally agree with you Lepisosteus platyrhincus

yeah and see that being a responsible pet owner, if only everyone who kept these dangerous animals was as responsible as you then they wouldn't have the negative stigma that they do, people think that no one across the board should have these animals because they see the incidents where dumbasses get these animals and cant take care of them so they end up releasing them and then they hurt someone, and they try to keep even the responsible owners from having them

i know you get a boner off being mean to people on forums but it just makes you look like a loser...

in before the lock but I agree with Lepisosteus platyrhincus.... I think if you have the means to keep something that you think is cool, you should be able to keep it, even if it is an orca...

trust me i was being nice. i was not that mean. just stating a fact.

+1 and responsibly too, i know i couldn't properly care for one nor do i have the desire to have something with that much liability to it, but just because i don't want that doesn't mean i think others shouldn't be able to, if they have the proper set-up, are knowledgeable about the animal and how to keep it safely then i think they have every right to own what they want

You're 18 and you could get a crocodilian at any time, so just because an opportunity to get one now has presented itself I don't necessarily think you should. If you were seriously thinking about getting one, I'd probably look into all the crocodilian species that are attainable and see which would be, if any, the best match for yourself. Maybe you have done this, I don't know, but asking on whether you should take it makes it sounds like this is a bit spur of the moment.

You had any experience working with any kind of croc? I like them all as much as the next guy but they aren't really what I thought. Some of the dwarf crocs can go a little mental sometimes, not sure what a large american alli being agressive would look like. Basically... don't rush into the decision because you can get one right now, like I said you could pick one up any time.
