can't wait for these guys to get bigger:grinno:

cool, gonna make a community?

Yeah I've been thinking about possible vivarium setups, stuff with streams running through them...that would be cool if I could pull it off.

Not sure how they'll cohabit, but a cool enough project. Just reminded me would be a good time to go herpin'

that green frog tad looks alot like a bullfrog tad, if it is a bullfrog then all you're other inhabitants won't be around for long.

My mom and I are pretty sure it's a green frog. It's not as round as the bullfrog tadpoles I've seen. But if it is a bullfrog, it's got another year or two before it turns, so plenty of time for my salamanders to grow up :)

i don't know, the first thing i fed my bullfrog(i used to have one that was about 6" svl) was a 3" long toad. i didn't know anything about the bullfrogs voracious appitite and put the toad in for "company" and 15min later i came back and it was gone. even just out of the water they're pretty much a big walking mouth and an active will to hunt. i'd bet if chuck norris was a frog, he'd be a bullfrog.

If Chuck Norris were a frog, all other species of amphibians would be obsolete.

I forgot how long exactly but it takes a bullfrog tadpole a few years before its metamorphosis into its adult stage of life.

Turns out green frogs are predominant in the pond where I got the tadpole, so it's probably not a bullfrog. It's cool though, because I'd rather have a green frog. The only thing I like more about bullfrogs is that they're more likely to sing in the summer, but damn they eat too much.
