i've heard that before, it's supposed to take up to 3yrs but that's under certain conditions. i've brought a bunch of bullfrog tads home before only to have them morph out in a month or two.
<Turns out green frogs are predominant in the pond where I got the tadpole, so it's probably not a bullfrog.>
that's good, bullfrogs are nuts and can jump incredible distances, they just aren't a good candidate for anything less than a pond.
