can they be kept together? if the aro is 2 inches and the dat is 1.5 inches?

i think its not a good decision-the arow (depending on what kind) will outgrow the dat very quickly (as dats are slow growers), and it will eventually become a meal...so the answer is:
no!

you can see my video on youtube for good example. I listed video on the media section. Originally, these arows had yolk. For some reason, they out grew the dats 3x; the more the arows eat, the faster they grew

how big are your dats that u keep with the aros?

yea they have yolk sacs....

i ask this ?@: has anyone ever seen a aro eat a dat

i have kept 26inch chili red with 4-5inch dats with no problem

if they grow up in the same tank they should be fine

Aren't asian aro's less aggressive compared to other aro's? In any case, the 4-5 inch dat is easily small enough to potentially be eaten if the arowana wanted to.

well i speak from experience that my 18inch aro beat the crap out out of my 4 inch dat and he just ate my 5-6inch Tig last night.....

it all depends on the fish-but i still think its a bad idea and not worth risking
and if you decide to do it keonigt-keep us updated; when you say
"they" have yolk sacs-how many arows are you talking about? and what size tank?
