dont!! wont eat cricket trust me. my lfs picked up 50 of these guys the only thing they ate was bloodworm, go for live BW cus what happen is if its to big they will spit it out threw there gils.
plus all my 5 are healthy as ever.

hint live blood worm. frozen bloodworm will just pollute your tank.

live bloodworm will have better chance.

Ok Would u still suggest live bloodworms ??

From what I know, Live Blood/Meal/Super worms are like 'treats' for the aro.. Try to use worms for the first few days to coax the aro to start eating. The best food is still pellets and MP, nutritious and lesser potential of introducing any bacteria into the Tank.

Anyway, tried feeding "LBW" in the past before Singapore starts to ban the importation, first, wash the "LBW" with a bit of the aquarium water to wash off any dirt, then proceed to drop a few into the tank (preferably at the spot furthest away from your filter).. If your Aro is stressed, most prob they will hide in a corner and will not eat in your presence. Try to move away slowly and observe, Aro should be attracted to the twitching of the worm in the water and hopefully the Aro will swim up and grab a few bite. If not, be prepared for a dirty filter.

Just my 2¢... :)

its a african not asian. if you was raising some 5grand fish i would understand. still to young.
bloodworm ftw.

I don't like feeding bloodworms. They are too messy. Have you tried Hikari sticks? You can also try Tilapia or Smelt.
