Baby arowana and divider? ASAP

i trully appreciate the advice.

I just some left over plexiglass. I can cut some to fit over the divider TOP. I'm going to pin some rulers against the gaps of the divider. My last resort. I'm only planning to get one black aro.

i could also lower the water level. How high to baby aros jump?

ok i've found a solution to seal off all the opennings. I'm just going to fit a piece of plastic cardboard across my tank so it'll fit between my tank's width.

My final question is, Do I need a sponge filter in my divided tank for my aro? I have a canister filter at the other side of the tank. There are small holes on the divider where the water a both sides can path through. CAN I JUST ADD AN AIRSTONE???

You can put filter sponge in the gasp. I'd put a sponge filter in for the aro but he should be ok w/out.

So no filter with the baby aro is ok? I have a large canister filter at the other side of the divider. The water from both sides can exchange fairlywell. Is an airstone a must then?

This is what i'm worrying about the most.
