Ya he's cool. Still won't eat when I'm around but it's only been 3 days and he is a lot less skittish. He will only eat crickets right now so once I know he's settled, i will try some arow sticks

IMO I would stop feeding the crickets in this manner. He will be much more adapt to your presence if he has to associate it with food. You can keep feeding crickets just remove them from the tank if you leave. Once it eats in your presence, you then need to stop feeding crickets until it eats pellets.
