here's my experience, my brother in law recently got a aussie aro, only a baby too, and won't eat anything he fed it.
I turned up the temp to 80F, lucky there was a water jet so there was current, so I thawed out two cubes of blood worms in a plastic cup, and dumped the worms where the current caught it, and the aro was hunting the worms down. So far, it's the only food the aro is eating, and we can't get it to eat anything else, but at least it's eating. So I would advise you put more current in tank and raise the temp and try thawed blood worms.
