Fortunatly they will...I have heard, keepers of Asian Aros trimming the broken barbel and the unbroken barbel equally so they can grow back evenly...I bet it takes awhile but all we got is time to grow barbels...LOL

No I never go very far from home with all these animals..that is the one drawback.. 6 horses,2 dogs,barn cat, fish and parrots.. i am stuck here... Hope you get it...
