yeah, i just caught 3 baby lmb today roughly around the same size and im thinking i'll just dig up some earthworms and chop them up for them tomorrow
My 2 SMBs (0.75", 1") and 1 bluegill (1.5") enjoy pieces of earthworm, red worms, copepods, mosquito larva, and some kind of little worm found in pond scum lol. The SMBs also like eating small fry (as I found out one morning after the two ate 20 tiny SMB fry overnight lol).
I have 6 little bass all about 1 to 1.5 inch and they just love to eat little feeder guppies. If you feed them live food they will grow faster. They will eat the flakes after acouple days or so.
I use a boat net that I have re-netted with some mesh fabric I bought for $1.50 at a fabric store. Then mounted it on a broomstick. You have to try to catch them in the moss because they ar so fast.

I wouldnt feed it live food for to much longer I would get it on flake food now. Thats all i feed mine when i first got them. Then switch to pellets, then market shrimp in that order and you'll have a monster on your hands in no time.
Ya, if you don't plan on moving the bass to a somewhat natural-style pond, then try to get it to eat non-living foods.
I am going to put mine in a 600 that I am working on right now. I want to keep y fish on live food. My gars, pickerel, cichlids, bass, they all eat guppy. The bass eat a combo of flakes and guppy. They took right to the flakes without any starving. They get a guppy treat twice a day.
