To play it safe, adult. But if we know their can be problems at a young age, why even give it to them ever? Another sence, its more money then other stuff. So its toatly up to you

Is it ok to put a calci sand in with a juvie bearded dragon? Right now we have him in a bare tank which is ugly, but I've heard that they might eat sand and not be able to pass it while young. is there any truth to that? Thanks for your advice.

the sand will pass throught there gut with no problem

now if you used gravel that would be a completely different story

sand is ok to use as a substrate with beardies of all ages

if you use it though buya pooper scooper like the one made for litter boxes.

What about indoor/outdoor carpet?

zoomed cage carpet is good stufff

very durable and comes in 3 colors and different sizes

id use the brown for a bearded dragon

if it gets soiled just toss it in the washing machine and put in a spare set.

do they make it for a 75? Biggest i've found is for a 55.

personally id go with the cage carpet

provides a cleaner more sterile environment.


about color choice, on second thought, go with green

the problem with this ceramic is that its semi pourous, so over time it will get smelly and become a breeding ground for bacteria, linoleum make a good substrate, not porous, and can stand up to repeated cleaning and disenfecting.

i think you can

if you cant, just use a 55 size and cut an extra foot off the second peice and overlap it (they come in sets of 2)
