Nope, they are different species.
Silver Arowana: osteoglossum bicirrhosum.

Black Arowana: osteoglossum ferreira

No silver and blacks are totally different. People say that blue arowanas and blacks are the same but they are not it is because they look almost the same. Like the fins are both blue with orange but the black has a darker body then the blue arowanas

C'mon man do some REAL research before posting this crap. There is only two arowana from south america the Silver (Osteoglossum bicirrhosum) and the Black (Osteoglossum ferreirai).

Blue arowana is just another common name for Osteoglossum ferreirai.
