does anyone here know how to catch really small bullhead? like under 5in

Seine net.
Even a dip net.
Have to go where they are.
If there is a spot where the water runs into something else, they most likely be congregated there.

In the right stream a minnow trap should yield lots of them. Especially in the late spring early summer. Around here there will be second crop of them right about now. A dip net or a seine used under an over hanging bank should yield lots of them.

in a pond where catfish are plentiful
you cant go wrong theyre
but they come up more mid summer
then u can find huge black spots
and if u look closley you will see its catfish swiming around

A 20 should keep 2 or 3 of them alive for a good while, Anything they cannot swallow will make good tank mates. but it would cut down on the number of bullheads you could keep. While they can survive very bad conditions they will do much better with a good filter just as any other fish would.
