Baby calvus died after brine feeding

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
yes what i do is I change only 10-15% of the water (20% if its dirtier than usual due) on a weekly basis, and once a month I'll add only a tiny bit of aquarium salt (containing no idione, and no calcium silicate) as existing salt does not evaporate out of the water, so you don't need to add much if at all any during regular water changes. And if your not sure you can test the alkaline levels regularly. I use the "quick dip" strips which makes it super easy to test the ph and alkaline all at once and quickly.

Ok thanks we use test kits but they are kinda hard to read so they are definatley worth a try
