saw this for the first time, this is sad. can't you feed them chicken meat or something? why does it have to be live baby chics?
i'm surprized at how bad these lizards are at catching food. i guess in the wild they are just scavengers and nest robbers

Savannah monitors really aren't supposed to eat that much meat anyways. Mostly insects occasional chopped up boiled egg or they get super fat and riddled with health problems. I guess sicko who enjoys having a pet for slow and painful death fetishism didn't bother research that tho. Big surprise.
