blood worms. mine dont seem to like anything else besides live blood worms and guppies. whenever i throw in krill or frozen food they just stare at it

try XTRA small wiggling earthworms(Im talkin 1 inch total length of this worm).. bet they cant resist after the Dat stalks it for a little bit...

My staple is frozen bloodworms. I mix up the foods all the time but the bloodworms are most popular. I tried some baby guppies and they wouldn't touch them...my Ctenopomas ate them instead.

I have Ctenos and mini dats in my growout tank too, and they eat bloodworms, brine, mysis, daphnia, and squirrels.

if you want it to grow extreme fast... feed live...

my babies are mainly eating bloodworms. they eat brine shrimp also. since they eat these i havent really tried anything else yet because they really love the bloodworms
