Well they would be with my uaru and my parrots, the uaru gettin to be about 12 to 14" and the parrots gettin to be 16"...those are big fish. Maybe that will be too tempting for the fei feng....hmmm....blasted suckers. I'm supposing gars are a bad option. I know you can't keep gars with pl*cos....

peanut, FF have been known to develop a liking to the slime coat of fish. Especially slow moving non aggressive fish ie. bichirs, gars. The FF will suck it, and the bichir will just move, and the FF will suck it again, and the bichir will move again. Not sure how it works with fish that don't take **** from other fish.

I have never had a problem with fei feng sucking the slime coat on my gar. he has never even looked at another fish as potential food.. keep them well fed and you shouldn't have a problem EXCEPT with rays.. I would never put one with a ray its way to tempting.
