You really need to reconsider your stocking though. Those Frontosa absolutely will get thrashed by the FH, Midas and Jag, probably starting very shortly. I'd remove them ASAP if I were you.

Unless you're really confident in the source, It's probably a mutt. I would guess that someone would say "low grade flowerhorn" cause if it was high end, youd know cause your wallet would be awfully thin. High end flowerhorns still catch some cash, and pure trimac's can cost a bit too. With all the flowerhorn mixes out there, it can be difficult to find a pure trimac. Give it time, it's young. We'll see what it develops into.

I hope they'll only be in the 55gal for no more than like 6 months or so. Frontosa get much too large to live in that size a tank for life - but they are slower growing than a lot of cichlids, so that gives you a bit of time at least to get a proper tank for them.
 
im leaning more towards the trimac since it has no real flower pattern...so im 85 % on the trimac
