Sorry for your lost, I felt your Pain.

What filtration did u use? Did the water smell "fishy" in a bad way?? Do you ever put salt in your tank??
I saw it somewhere in the forum that SH don't like salt, and will likely died if salt is added to it.

When my baby snakehead died, the tank had a scent of Death, if u know what i mean.
I was afraid the smell of death will claim the lives of other so, I did a 80% water change after it's death.

I got five baby snakeheads in my tank. and One is dead, one is Dying from Constipation (Got the Epsom salt for Treatment Tonight), the three young ones are still healthy....Have my finger crossed, hope they will survive.

hmm yea i guess it was overfeeding.. cos since they monster fish, yea you get what i mean haha. the mollies were around an inch, i fed like around 2 a day, too much? my tank is pretty small i dont know how many gallons but its around 2 plus feet in length..filter hmmm...not sure what brand but its some singapore 20 plus dollar waterfall thingy haha. but micropeltes are pretty hardy from what i know(as an angler haha) i didnt think they would die so easily. planning to get more soon!:naughty: theyre like sold as feeder fish here.

im thinking about the feeders that you gave them? are they clean?

hmmm i wouldnt have a clue if they were clean or not anw..haha is there a way to "clean" them?

You keep them in another tank for some say 2 weeks, some say a month to make sure they dont have anything. The longer the better IMO.

you have over feed them, you need a much biger tank, and yes they dont do well with salt

when i was bought first channa she died after one week , then after half year i bought two micro first died after one mounth, other still live it was 3 years ago. Little micro in poland for example are often ill :(

rainer..
sorry to hear about your lost..before you purchase any new channa..it's advisable for u to drain your tank and put under the hot sun for half a day in order to kill any of those micro bacterias presence. Clean your filter system as well. Use new filter sponge. I did that and it works. Next time should your fish sick eg. tail or fin rot, floating at surface lost of appetite..drain 1/4 of the water in the tank..add some salt and 'yellow powder' medicine (refer attached 1st photo) and as for periodic water changed use the water quality adjustment control (refer attached 2nd photo)
