I think these pics really help out. I have a jardini, and there are definite differences. Mine doesn't have those pinkish dots on the scales, his barbels are much bigger, and he is heavier-set then the leichardtis.

Scleropages Jardini's are usually redish/dark colour and usually the barbels are shorter than the leichardti

Scleropages leichardti are silver with pinkish/redish dots on the scales.
