Where did u get those fish? Like ive said ( and this from the midevil/midas queen) i have seen midas keep thAt coloration their entire lives without peeling, it happens all the time with the barred midas at stores and the miami wild caught often go through this. He might stay like that or he might peel completely.

Yes she does! How can one cope with that? How one not be an envious hater of the Midas Queen and her hoard???

I have owned and caught many many many miami midevils. Although right now ive decided to go in the direction of pure wild or f1 midas. If i had more tanks i would keep miami midas. The humps and colors are amazing.
 
Today i got one about the same size of those, half black.....
