That's a great deal on a 55g and stand. Those Oscars should be plenty big in 10 months. If you buy the little O's post pics now and then again when you get the big tank. If that's what you decide? Good Luck.

Im picking it up on saterday prolly, but I dont wanna miss out on the oscarsI have a group of 3 wild Os in my 150G with some other large fish. Id say if you really kept up on your waterchanges you could actually do a 125G for 4 oscars. The general "rule" I hear from alot of people on stocking oscars in a show tank situation is to allow 50G for the first oscar and 25G per oscar after that....thatd come up to 4 in a 125G which with good filtration and upkeep wouldnt be that bad of a bioload IMO. You could keep maybe a shoal of silver dollars or some mid sized catfish in there to disperse any aggression. Granted my 3 are all between 9-10" and havent had any aggression at all yet...groups of Oscars usually do better than 2 since there is more fish to establish a pecking order no single one is always the others ***** 
Tank first, Fish later.. more oscars will come. Why care about the juvenile pattern anyways? It always changes.
