Lady said she ordered me cichla ocellaris, would you agree? They're bigger now and more easy to identify I would think.

My buddies was slow growing too.... My older guy caught up to his in one month, and his was a little bigger than mine was in that picture, and I got mine at under an inch long.

I've had great success with raising mine and the, growing. These pics are about a week old, they're a little bigger and darker now. Have you checked your levels? I know it sounds cliche but it's important when starting the tank. Also, how often do you feed him? I kept mine well fed on live food

Where in Florida are you?would u be willing to trade a firemouth for a pbass?or maybe a bicker for one?

North Florida. Jacksonville to be exact. I'm not looking to trade either of mine, but can put you in contact with someone who could help you get them.

I dropped 10 in for my guys today, and they ate all 10. There's like 3 hiding in the rock caves, they could have swam there or they could have been there from before... I am not quite sure.

There's someone here selling an 11in for 50 dollars actually. In Jax I mean

O Jacksonville is too far away for me lol and I have mine in a 20 gallon growout So the 11"would have no room lol I'm looking for 2-3"
