Baby pbass eating pellets :)!!!!!!!!

I was under the impression no fish would starve themselves and they would eventually start eating the pellets you put in. Any thoughts on this? I just got a mono maybe two weeks ago and he was apparently already eating pellets. Well he doesn't seem interested in baby cichlid pellets. I've seen him take bites but I think he usually spits them out. He's eaten a few flakes but usually not many. Goes crazy for blood worms though. I've just been feeding the tank normally and assumed he would eventually get hungry enough to start eating the flakes and pellets.

Is this logical or will Peacock Bass actually starve themselves too death? Didn't think any fish would starve themselves to death if you added food regularly I assumed they would eventually adapt and start eating it.

Yes, certain Pbass would rather DIE, than eat pellets....................

Alright, thanks for the advice guys. I'll try the bloodworm with large hikari gold crushed in there.

Forget pellets, i just purchased three baby tem's, and there hitting on these Food Sticks like there going out of style, and make sure you don't purchase the Jumbo's, and cut them in threes when you feed them....Good luck.
