I see Mantis sometimes around my house. I seen big ones hanging out on the walls, and bushes. Sometimes they hang out by the porch light eating all the little flying bugs. Ive seen big green ones and big brown ones. For some reason i thought the greens were female, and the browns (that are kinda reddish), are males. Theyre cool to watch but I get freaked out if they are too close. I had one run right at me and I jumped. One time I was on my porch having a smoke, and saw a few really tiny babies (green ones), hanging out on a leaf on a bush. For days they were there. They were even growing. There was one left though and I would try to put a little bug next to eat to help it out. Then one day that last one was gone too. They must have went their way. I havent seen any lately either. Also, doesnt the female eat the male right after they mate?

ya i think so, iv been looking online now for quit a while and can't seem to find an online store that sells exotic ones like orchid or the spikey flower ones.

I have some from time to time When I find a egg capsule ,I incubate them, raise them and use some as pets and breeders(the nice ones) and the rest as feeders. My anole simply loves them
