Baby protection device

its an eye sore but great ideas my pups always end up under the wood i have every time
 
I thought I would jump into this thread since me and tim are kinda bouncing ideas off each other. I'm just reworking a "baby protection device" like rudy's with a similar design but some mods. eg. spray bar underneath to keep debries out, an acrylic top so it's more comfortable for rays to be on it, maybe tie wrap some plants to it so it appears to be a safer birthing place, openings on two sides instead of one, a better tie down method. Just curious if anyone else had any ideas on this?
 
good idea but that wont last 5 mins with adult rays they will have so much fun ripping it to bits

it may crush the pups once the adults have thrown the rock off

never had any problems with adult rays and new born pups

think you have more risk of them getting hurt if you leave that in the tank
