So my 2 juvenile pbass and my largemouth had jux died last week and i was real sad...my tanks where empty so jux yesterday i went and got me 6 red belly piranhas all at about a penny size. They aren't that skittish so i think i got a good bunch. They are currently in a 38gal with waters at about 75-80 degrees. When bigger they are goin into my 55gal. I noe that the 55gal is too small for them when they're older but i might be giving a few away when older. Anyways wat i wanna noe is...

1. How fast do they grow?(currently eating earthworms)

2. Is it still bad to feed them mice and feeder goldfish once ina while?

3. I noe that the correct diet for them are chicken liver, beef heart, and frozen shrimp. Am I missing anything else and where would i be able to get it from?

did you still have your pbass in the 10g when they died, or did you get them a bigger tank? as for your rbp there's a nutrition sticky at the top of the forum you should check out if you haven't.

A1: they grow about 1" a month til they hit ~6" then slow down
A2: yes it is still bad to feed them mice and feeder goldfish once in a while especially mice it's just very messy and your water parameters will be off if you don't clean everything up quickly. if you do decide to feed feeder goldfish then make sure to quarantine them to ensure disease and parasite free. you don't want a 10cents feeder kill off your prized fish.
A3: for correct diet please see this sticky: http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=306686
chicken liver, beef heart should be fed once a while and not a stable. they mainly eat fish, shrimp is fine too.

you don't need to feed live, tilapia, bass, catfish, perch, etc.

i dont get what you're trynna say lol

dont feed them live food. Feed them fish fillets like tilapia, perch, ect. whatever you find the cheapest. I picked up a 2 pound bag of individually frozen tilapia fillets for 8 bucks.
