Baby RTCxTSNs!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Basslover - yeah that's an issue with them for sure. I am a bit concerned my larger one might try to eat the smaller one and have the same problem. I keep them both pretty well fed but it only takes a momentary lapse.

Yesterday my TSN killed my oscar the same way. They've been tank mates peacefully for over 2 years but I guess ol' norbert got hungry. Gladly, he didn't choke on him, just killed him and spit him out. Jerk could have at least eaten him and saved me like $10 in shrimp!

just over 4 weeks and they are definitely going to be biiiiig boys. One is going to be a HUUUGE boy. I'm not sure if it's just because he got a head start on his little brothers by snarfing down my BGK or what, but he is massive by comparison.

what r you feeding lol thay are growing so fast realy nice looking cats

Mostly shirmp and bloodworms. I went away for a week or so and left them with a bunch of feeders in the tank too so they could snack at will. They are all extremely aggressive eaters now. Took a while to get all 3 eating so well. I think the big one got a start on his appetite with the BGK he ate the first night, so he got a good week of heavy eating in while his little bros figured out how to really put it away.

nice looking fish, i just got mine wed. hes already got a big belly on him.

They continue to amaze me. Between 3, yesterday morning they had about 2/3 of one market prawn. Today a whole one, so... 50% food volume increase in one day. I'm sure if I wasn't feeding them twice a day they would make 2 whole ones disappear tomorrow.

The fatty in my other tank powers through 12-15 in a sitting though so I shouldn't be surprised.
