baby saxatilis

thanks, I've heard from the seller that there are two types of pike that they've been able to breed locally, and it looks similar to saxatilis, so you could be right. They are doing well so far, hopefully they grow faster at this time.

I think they are Saxitilis. I bought a bunch of these at an LFS in Sacramento and now have a male about 7" plus and a female. They spawn about every 3 weeks. How can you tell the difference? I've read Sax max out around 8". The male has tons of silver spangles all over.

Yea looks like saxitillis to me. Has the black blotch where it's shoulder area is
