Over here
I just got a pair of baby silvers today,,(finally). I have them in a 10g for now. Thinking partial water changes weekly would be easier to do for now. Is this a good idea or placing them in a bigger say 55g grow out tank. Just wanted some info..Tanks .........oh there about 1-2"

you can keep them in a 10 gal. for maybe about 1.5 months and then you should upgrade to the 55 for them to grow... and then think of getting a huge monster tank if you plan to keep them for life.

Tanks for the info, got home from work few days ago found one stress out. Removed from the tank, placed it in another, didnt survive. The other one is doing fine. Im feeding it live feeders, treid flakes, frozen brine, aro sticks, so far eating only live foods. So placing it in the 55 grow out tank should be better? I was thinking moving it slowly in stages. 10g,55g,100,finally 300. I didnt want to place him in a big tank by its self. Any good tank mate ideas.I was thinking CL to eat anything that sank to the bottom.

In the 55g with live feeders, might have hard time catching the feeders. I think do the stages. Good luck!
