Hello all,
I have a baby 3 in aro currently in a 29g, which will later be moved to a 75g that is currently cycling, and eventually a 210g when i save up enough money.
Was thinking about getting my friends baby silver which is 4 inches, and was wondering if i could keep it with the 3 inch right away or would it need to be housed in a separate 29g until they both get big enough to be housed in the 75g?
Any info would be nice. thanks.

you would have to keep them seperate for now

i had 3 babys and one grew more quicker

when it was like 4in he ate the smaller 2 and the green terror ended up atticking him

im waitng for my divider to come in the mail and i am also waiting for petland to get more arowanas

I know you are speaking based on your experience. However, I have read the almost opposite.

A multiple Silver Aro community tank has a higher chance of working out if the Aros are grown out together and are "used to" each other.

So, from what I have read, it's advisable to keep the two aros (3" and 4") together and ensure they are both well fed and don't compete a lot for food.

The above is just what I have read from other articles on the Internet..

I have had success with pretty odd combination of fish with my Silver Aro as he has always been in a "community" and has always had plenty to eat.

This pic is from about 6 months ago when the Aro was about 12"

I wonder what the experts have to say about this.

So i finally picked up the second aro today around 4 inches, i released him after letting him get adjusted to the new tank water and after feeding my other aro.
When i first released him everything was fine, but when i came back 30 mins later, the new aro got beat up pretty bad, torn fin, missing scales, and barely alive
I netted him and put him in a guppy but he can barely swim. What should i do now?

either set up another tank or see if anyone in your community will take him.

I currently have another 29 with just giant danios but i wanted to see if they were compatible with each other, i guess now,
should i try to nurse my aro back first? and if so how?
