What I feed my 5" Lei.

Hai Feng Pellets, Hikari foodsticks (doesn't seem to like too much) and carne pellets, frozen blood worms, frozen Krill. Occasional raw cut-up raw prawn. I was thinking of adding crickets and mealworms to the mix. Maybe when he gets bigger.

He trys pellets ans sticks but spits them right after

Yup, mine still spits out the Hikari foodsticks, but I try to continue to mix it in with the other foods. Have you tried frozen blood works (the cubes)?

Mine was only eating bloodworms when I got him at 3". Hes now at about 5" and will take bloodworms, tilapia, krill, FD krill and market shrimp. If my one eyed guy can eat that then surely yours can. Just work with him, drop the food right by his mouth. Its hard with mine because he only has one eye so i have to time it just right and hope he doesnt turn.

He took flakes??? Lol he hated to the freeze dried bloodworms but he ate some flakes. Thanks guys i will give a further update.
