Baby silver arowanas with egg sacs

Today I received six 2-3" silver arowanas with egg sacs as part of an order from TFD (tfdfish.com).

I didn't expect them to come in with egg sacs. What can I do best to keep them alive past egg-sac stage?
 
just let them relax, and get settled in. start feeding them once the sack is gone.


I like bloodworms and baby shrimp for baby aros
 
i wonder if mine will have the egg sacks aswell? opps let the cat out of the bag....
 
Mine did perfectly fine with the sacs... Just make sure the temperature is constant around 84 -85 F, very clean water, not too much water movement or high pressure water movement that tire them out, and they do jump as well, so be careful of that...
 
Many people have posted that baby arowana with yoke sacks will also eat. Go with freeze dried blood worms as a first food, they are soft and float.

How many you gettin? They coming from Infinite aquatics?
 
I just introduced some of them into the tank... I noticed one of them lost his egg sac after an hour or two... is he a goner?

The rest still have the sacs on.

agree. IMO I think when they have there egg sacks they are very sensitive. I have only have black arrows with egg sacks but I don't think there that much diff than silvers. good luck and post some pictures
